In The Unknown Craftsman, Soetsu Anagi says "To see is to go directly to the Core.... To know facts about, is to go around the periphery. Beauty is a kind of mystery, which is why it cannot be grasped adequately through the intellect".
The student curated, exhibition BENEATH, follows the deconstruction of 11 individuals moving towards the essential.
The show is running until March 5th in OCAD University's Transit space.                          Artist featured are: Matthew Del Degan, Sofia Escobar, Jennifer Gordon, Gabriela Hansen, Torin Ellery Hastings, Singithi Kandage, Megan Kee, Christopher Lim
Rishabh Varshney, Di Vy and myself Aisha-Zalika Simpson.
Transit Space is located on the 2nd floor, and is adjacent to the fiber studios.
